Dear Republicans,
I regret to inform you that I am resigning from the position as chairman of Vance County Republican Party immediately, January 11.
As you know, my son, Representative Glen Bradley-House District 49, is running for the senate seat in District 18.  I feel it is best for everyone that I resign now before people question my support for Glen as we need to avoid any appearance of impropriety.
Thank you so much for the honor and pleasure of serving as chairman for the past 3 years.  I will remain very active in the Vance County Republican Party.  
The 2012 elections are very important.
