We are the Vance County Republican Party

Welcome to the Vance County Republican Party website.

We, the people of the Vance County North Carolina Republican Party are committed to affecting the kind of reform that is desperately needed in our county, state and nation today. We are a group of grassroots activists who have watched as our nation has slowly walked away from those Constitutional principles that made our nation and our state great, and we have come together to restore the Constitutional order, and to ensure liberty and access to prosperity for all citizens.

RICHARD'S THOUGHTS

Treasurer-Vance County Republican Party

Thought I’ve seen it all! Guess not. Now the IRS is becoming a police force! The IRS is buying sixty 12 gauge Remington pump shotguns with 14” barrels (thought 18” was the limit). But of course it’s the government doing what the heck they want to.

It used to be, if you didn’t pay your taxes, they would audit you, fine you or even put you in jail. I guess now they can kill you too.

RICHARD'S THOUGHTS

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

By Richard Esslinger
Treasurer-Vance County Republican Party

Right now we don’t have a real President. Maybe it’s just as well. We need a break anyway!

Let Obama do his puppet show and teleprompter thing. (Actually I think Nancy Pelosi writes his stuff.)

So now let us use this time wisely and start rebuilding the Republican Party as our forefathers designed it so many years ago.

What can we do about the Obamacare now?

We have just begun to fight.  Now the House and Senate negotiations will formally begin, to craft a compromise version that bill be signed by Obama.  We already know where Senator Buur stands, with the people.  What can we do about our other representatives, Hagan, Butterfield and Etheridge?  We must send emails, letters, make the phone calls and tell them what needs to be the real reform in our healthcare.

Firearms Freedom Act in North Carolina!

Breaking news:

The North Carolina grassroots organization pushing to adopt a North Carolina Firearms Freedom Act has broken major ground this month in winning a sponsor for the legislation in the NC State House during the long session of 2010.

Am I a right wing fringe radical?

Well, chances are no, of course. But if you have been a conservative for longer than 15 minutes, you have probably been called one. If you have been a conservative for longer than 15 days, you've probably been called one to your face.
